Thank you for using my first Starszz exclusive theme. It is coded with PHP and can be easily converted into Cutenews or Wordpress news management. The layout is made with Adobe Photoshop CS 8.0 and is made for Photoshop users. Three files are customizable: ExclusiveTheme.psd, Sidebar.psd and Content.psd. (c) Rossi at www.tinsel-dreams.net * * * -------------------- |ExclusiveTheme.psd| -------------------- BACKGROUND IMAGES FOLDER Choose a picture that is bigger than 1000px. Paste it into the "background images" folder and duplicate it once. On the layer on top, select a part and remove what's not selected. Desaturate the bottom layer (B&W) and blur it. Select the bottom of this layer, choose a 50px feather and delete it so it looks faded. Do the same with the "Main" colored picture. Choose a shade of gray and fill the "BG" layer with it. Choose a color that suit well the bottom of the "Main" layer and fill the "Main BG" layer with it. WELCOME MESSAGE FOLDER Type your welcome message in the first text layer. Paste it again in the bottom text layer. The optional white spots layer can be used if the text is not easy to read. You can change the size and color if necessary. SITE TITLE FOLDER Type your site title/name/url in the three layers. You can change the size and color if necessary. NAVIGATION FOLDER Paste your navigation links in the text layer. The "Layer 2" is optional, but it looks better with it. If your number of navigation links differs from 7 and you have to remake them, follow these steps. Take a 1px white brush and draw straight lines between the navigation links. With a 0% hardness 100px eraser, erase the sides of the lines. To change the color of the circle, go to the layer style and select gradient overlay or color overlay. Also don't forget to change the inner shadow's color. EFFECTS FOLDER This folder doesn't need to be changed. Save this PSD file as "Header.png". * * * ------------- |Content.psd| ------------- To change the "News Title" color, go to the layer style and select color overlay. Also don't forget to change the inner shadow's color. For "Layer 2", select a color that a little bit darker than the "News Title" one. Do the same for the "Content BG" layer. Duplicate the image and click merge visible (Layer > Merge Visible). Crop the top, content and bottom in three parts: ct.png, cc.png and cb.png. * * * ------------- |Sidebar.psd| ------------- To change the "Sidebar BG" layer's color, do the same as the Content.psd one. Duplicate the image and crop the top. Save it in PSD form. Duplicate the original file and click merge visible (Layer > Merge Visible). Crop the content and bottom in two parts: sc.png and sb.png. In your new sidebar top PSD, select the "Sidebar title" folder. Paste your sidebar title in the first and third text layer. In the second one, select the yellow word and replace it with your own. Do the same for the green word. Colors can be changed. * * * -------- |Coding| -------- HEADER.PHP You can center the layout with containers if wanted. This layout was coded with divs instead. The sidebar is included in "header.php" but you can move it to a "sidebar.php" file if you want. Change the title in the tags. STYLE.CSS You can change all the colors to fit your layout. Only the body, links, images and headers were customized. I suggest you to add font weights, blockquotes and more. INDEX.PHP In the
